The Flight Where They Thought They Were Going Down

January 9, 2026 · Angelina, Scarlett & Annabella

YouTube has this one titled “I Thought Our Plane Was About to Crash…” — and unlike some of WAG’s other titles, this one is exactly what it sounds like. The episode opens with a real moment: turbulence, or a drop, or something in the cabin that was enough to make all three hosts genuinely think the flight was going down.

How it starts

They don’t ease into it. The episode opens directly on that moment — the fear was real, even if (obviously) the flight landed fine. From there, the conversation widens out into the rest of their flying history: the near-misses, the weird seatmates, the delays that turned into disasters, all the stories that come from three teenagers who’ve done more flying than most adults their age between filming trips, conventions, and family travel.

Why it’s not really a “scary” episode

Despite the opening, this isn’t a heavy episode. The near-crash moment is the hook, but most of the runtime is the hosts one-upping each other with flight horror stories in the same loose, joking register as the rest of WAG Podcast — closer to swapping stories at a sleepover than a dramatic retelling.

Why it’s worth telling

Three teens who fly more than most adults their age have real material here — a girls podcast earns that kind of story from lived experience, not from a writers’ room.
